Hebden Bridge-based songwriter michael dollan just released his album “our own unique patch of sky” – a gorgeously crafted album laced with almost psychedelic-rock elements, weaving soundscapes around his songwriting and lyricism. Throughout the album, you can see the intricacy of his lyrics, touching on a range of topics and inspirations, from political events to his local environment, personal life and even more. The soundscapes of the album are placed so carefully, utilising the space incredibly to create a proper atmosphere that is unique to each track. It’s well worth checking out, a fantastic album!

Love the closer here - an interesting indie album you'd probably throw on to ease yourself into a panic attack :)
Also cool to have someone talk about the emotional journey of the EP - and to catch hold of the anxiety running through tracks 3 and 4...
My track - attest - has been spotlighted for discussion in the New Music Cafe. I'm both honoured, and really happy about what the reviewer said :)
